Golf course overview:
- Two courses featured: Stoney Creek and Devils Knob
- Stoney Creek is set against a dramatic background of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this 7,005
yard course meanders gracefully across the valley floor at Stoney Creek. The Rees Jones
designed course features bold moundings, similar to those found on many British courses, that
will emulate and be in concert with the mountains and views in the background.
- Devils Knob-at an elevation of 3,800 feet (Virginia's highest course), it offers 50 mile views
of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenanadoah and Rockfish Valleys below. Architect
Ellis Maples designed the 18 hole championship course along challenging, yet surprisingly
level mountain ridges, incorporating an abundance of natural rock outcroppings, mountain
foliage and streams.
